Admissions

Prospective students may enroll during any month of the year with classes beginning on the first Monday of each month.

Our school is open year-round with the exception of the following:

New Years Day, Martin Luther King Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas.  There will be a break between Christmas and New Year’s Day.

 New Students:  In order to be considered for admission, applicants must be at least 17 years of age.  Proof of age such as a birth certificate, driver’s license, or other such document acceptable to the director is required.  Submission of a high school diploma, transcript, or GED is required.  A complete enrollment application is required.   

Transfer Students:  A student wishing to transfer to MarJón needs to request from the previous school that
an official transcript be sent to the admissions office.  Once received, the transcript will be evaluated.  The applicant must also take a written and practical examination.  A minimum of 10% of the hours required for the certification program must be completed at MarJón.  Once the transfer hours are approved by MarJón and by the NY State Education Department, Proprietary Schools Unit, the applicant may register for classes.

 
Readmit:  A student wishing to continue their education at MarJón must apply for readmission in the Admissions Office.  Students who readmit to the school must follow the curriculum requirements at the time of readmission.
